Mobile Internet access - example

In this page we are describing the example of mobile Internet access from RBMTX series routers and RB900SG-ElpOS modem.

First you need to set SIM card(s) parameters in QuickSetup menu tab. You need to provide SIM1 (and SIM2, when supported) APN and optionaly PIN, username and password.

Check in Dashboard if the GSM/LTE modem has logged into the network correctly.

Then, go to Network -> Interfaces and edit SIM1 or/and SIM2 settings. InCreate / Assign firewall-zone set wan (sim1) in Firewall Settings menu tab. Save settings and check if the device provides internet access.

If not, please check the network card properties or if other network interface is not interfering the communication (e.g. WiFi).
